About the Role:
This one-year internship program is designed for individuals eager to break into tech sales. As a Sales Development Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience with international markets, learn from seasoned sales leaders, and develop essential skills for a successful sales career. Your work will directly contribute to generating qualified leads and building a strong pipeline for the account executive team in India.
Key Learning & Responsibilities:
- Lead Management: Follow up on inbound leads within 24 hours, maintain accurate records in the CRM, and ensure timely outreach.
- Qualification & Handover: Call and qualify leads, schedule meetings for Account Executives, and effectively hand over prospects.
- Research: Identify key decision-makers in target companies using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, Lusha, and ZoomInfo.
- Sales Methodologies: Learn and apply frameworks like BANT and MEDDPICC for effective lead qualification.
- Collaboration: Share feedback with marketing on campaign performance and lead quality.
- Pitching Skills: Understand Freshworks’ product offerings and clearly communicate their value.
- Tracking Performance: Monitor your weekly performance metrics and assist in reporting.
- Event Support: Contribute to virtual and in-person events by generating audiences and engaging prospects.

Requirements:
- University student or recent graduate (any discipline).
- Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Comfortable working in a target-driven, high-energy team environment.
